Eg.
The keyword search "Axon AX-100 craigslist" brings back hits from
current craigslist ads all across the world.
Has everybody out there already known about this?

It works better if you do it like this (I'll use an ES-335 as an
example)
Gibson ES-335 site:craigslist.org
Just type that into the search bar with anything you're and you'll
gets tons of results from Craigslist only.

OK. Thanks.
Is this something recent, a new arrangement between craigslist and
Google maybe?
I seem to remember that craigslist used to be adamant about not allowing
people to search the entire craigslist system.
I'm almost sure I tried something like this when I first got hip to
craigslist, and that it didn't work. No?
I've been using it for a while, but I have no idea about how long it's
worked.
Here's another sorta neat site that will search Craigslist within a
state - limited search terms though.
Actually, I think you'll find that my way gets a more complete list of hits.
I put up a WTB ad on Toronto's craigslist a while ago for a Boss TU-50
tuner.
It shows up on Google if I search with "Boss TU-50 craigslist", but
doesn't come up if I use "Boss TU-50 site:craigslist.org".
Yeah, you may be right - that does seem odd, though. At any rate,
either method of searching can be pretty helpful sometimes ;)
Use a comma after Craigslist and the item in quotes.

nope it's a tried and tested google feature. Try:
"site:tapas.affenbande.org woody"
and it finds stuff with "woody" in it on my page.. don't look though.. ;)

Yeah, I've always known how to use Google to search a web site/domain name.
But I thought that craigslist, which is *not* a single web site/domain
name, had some ways of stopping users from searching all of craigslist's
sites.
