Does anyone know what type of wrench is needed to adjust the trust rod on a
Hofner (Very Thin to be specific)? And where to get one?

This has come up on this newsgroup. You can try JHale music. It's a
special size wrench.

Just so you know...It's called a "truss rod" not a "trust rod".

LOL! Just a typo... but did look rather "uninformed".

I needed a wrench for my Hofner New President, and I couldn't get a
standard socket wrench to fit. I called the Boosey & Hawkes rep on the
west coast and they sent me one at no charge. I have no idea whether
different models use different wrenches, but you might try to contact
Boosey & Hawkes. I'll see if I can find the email address.

Northcoast is where I bought my Jazzica. Very legit dealer.

Hofner is no longer distributed by Boosey & Hawkes. Contact Rob Olsen, the
Former B&H rep. He's now with CMI-Classic Musical Instruments, the new
Hofner distributor. Call 262-942-4811 or e-mail rob....@hofner.com. Hope
this helps.

Peace,
