I just heard a nice arrangement of Solar for 3 guitars on the radio that
you played on.
You, Vic Juris and I didn't catch the 3rd guy but it might have been
Frank Vignola.
Who took the 1st solo?
He sounded very Metheny-like, so much so that I thought it was probably
him when I heard it.

My guess is Juris. Qualifies the most for Metheny-like of the three
you mention.
Wasn't that on the album with Corey, Vic and Jimmy?
>Hey Jimmy...if you're out there.

It must have been Juris then. He definitely has a little Metheny vibe
sometimes. Corey Christiansen is the 3rd guy.

Thanks.
You know I don' remember. I will have to listen to it if I can find
my copy of it. My guess it would be Vic
In case anyone's still interested, we have learned that the solo order
is Vic, Corey, then Jimmy.
That's great stuff. I love Vic Juris' sound and approach. He uses two
small Evans amps in stereo and plays through a little multi-effects
unit.
That's also Neil on 'Giant Steps'.
I thought he did "Giant Leaps".
No, that was Howard 'FretBuzz' Aldren.
