John Cage? That's pretty good.

I'll see your John Cage and raise you a James Russell Lowell:

Opinions are a funny thing because they are a window into your soul. If you
want to find out about someone's character just ask his opinion on
something.

Here are some Nietsche quotes that can be applied to music:

The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher
esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

Out of passions grow opinions; mental sloth lets these rigidify into
convictions.

Convictions are more dangerous enemies of truth than lies.

Nick, I don't have a webpage as of yet.. I'm embarrasingly website
illiterate & shouldn't be with 36+yrs of commerical graphics under
my belt but when I was taken ill in 1990 I never got into computers
until I was here bed'ridden but I dont have a excuse for not having
a site except laziness in learning as it does not float my boat at this
point..
The downside of 'parrot' type birds: Well there are no' dirty birds
only dirty bird owners so the cages, bowls, and mess are cleaned
twice a day here. The training was fun for me & they are all potty
trained.. Many don't realize how intelligent these type birds are &
they are the biggest 'con artists' in the world.. :) With owning any
bird or other pet they need TLC and good health'care. These are
'exotic type pets' so it is not for everyone. What I like others will
hate, & I have been told this to my face about the birds, but I do
not give a sqwat what anyone thinks :)
Finally, I have a few photos {actually I guess quite alot?} but as
stated above no Webpage, hopefully soon, but I want to have a
music site, not birdy site...lol.. Anyway, sorry for the ramblings
everyone on rmmgj. I got carried away :) A Parrot'ee thom_j.

Nick, with smaller psittacines{latin for parrot specie of avian birds}
you have many options of getting all type species of these birds. If
you have children now you have a good 100 species to chose from
that will be perfect for young children but not the larger psittacines.

These larger birds do not like small anything around them.. If you
try with one of these 'huge dinosaurs' as a first bird, you'll end up
selling it within months. Anyway there is plenty to chose from but
if you are interested just email me as rmmgj isn't the place for this.

But his guitar playing really stunk.

Thom, I still love birds, but somebody else's birds. They're too much like
those scary club girls who used to wear too many earrings in one ear before
there was piercing.

There's a way to mess with their little beaks (birds, not the 'Birds') in a
circle without touching them where they can't bite you. I learned it from
reading Oyama's point and circle stuff a long time ago. Works well and they
look at you differently afterward.
