Saw an ad for a 1983 Ibanez FG 100 archtop. Don't know this model really.
Was this a low end, medium end or high end archtop at the time? Is it
anywhere near a GB 10 quality wise? Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,

Dick

It's one of the post-lawsuit guitars from the Ibanez factory and was
produced in at the end of the seventy's untill the beginning of the 80's.
Though it has the same sort of cut-a-way as the GB the top is different,
since it laminated (maple)

I think it is in the same range as the Ibanez Johnny Smith (except that
one is carved and has floating humbuckers)

Yeah, tomorow at Jazz in Catstown (in Helmond,
www.jazzincatstown.nl )
It's a free concert, the 75 min. set starts
at 12.15 on the mainstage.
You should check it, sunday will be family day at the festival, in the
morning even Edwin Rutten will be there (he does a introduction to jazz
for kids).

Btw, I just heard some Toots T. at Pjazz, nice radiostation Pat !
