It's from "guitar Forms" (with Gil Evans, Jimmy Cleveland...) - Verve
V6-8612 (original LP issue) but this album is dificult to find.
Try the Jazz Masters colection n. 45.

Forgive me for asking, but if you are in any way serious about learning
jazz pieces why are you asking for tab? It's worth your time to learn
to read them in standard music notation, which will also enable you to
learn from ANY jazz music, not just for guitar.

While we are at it--does anyone know of any Kenny Burrell transcriptions?

I've seen one on the web ("I Never Knew" from the album with
Coltrane). The page also had a Jim Hall transcription and several
others. The page is linked to from my web site. (look on the
instrument specific page) There are a couple of links to other
guitarists' transcriptions as well. But I don't remember seeing any
more Burrell. I have made a chart for "Freight Trane" if anyone
wants that though.

This thread jogged my memory. On page 64 of Maurice Summerfield's The
Jazz Guitar (1978 edition), there is a reproduction of a cover for "Jazz
Guitar Kenny Burrell" that was published by Chas. Colin in New York for
the amazing price of $2.00. Eighteen tunes are listed, including Midnite
(sic) Blue. In fact most of the tunes on Midnight Blue are there. I've
often wondered what ever became of this publication and have always been
on the lookout for it. Maybe it will be reprinted one day.

I'd like to see that too, although I've learned all the tunes on Midnight
Blue by osmosis. They're pretty simple, and if you listen enough times
it's hard not to learn them.
