Hi. I've just discovered that AW had designed album covers for Kenny
Burrell, Kai Winding et al Jazz artists. (Later he'd done rock albums
like Sticky Fingers, Lennon, Velvet Underground.) A quick "Google"-ing
turns up images. RDS

I dunno about Warhol, but I recently got the Sonny Stitt/Bud
Powell/J.J., Johnson album on Prestige and highly enjoyed the bizarre
cover art by Mad's Maddest Artist, Don Martin.

Wait a minute...are we talking about THE Don Martin? Of "Don Martin
Drops 13 Stories" and "Don Martin Bounces Back" fame? The guy who
wrote about Elmer Fonebone and his assistant Fester Bestertester? The
