Comments welcome, but try to be civil.

And no comments abot the relative balance between the instruments please.
I have no real-time or automated control over how these tracks here are
mixed.
These are just simple auto-bounces of the project tracks.

At 3:12 of NorWood you played something where you were clearly not thinking about rhythm but instead were selecting pitches via a completely consciously worked out analytic process that had not previously been mastered and perfected in practice. That, and the sax is too loud. More dobly, too, while you're at it.

Other than that, thumbs up.

I don't know if you've already got a deal worked out with a record company, but the two pieces of advice I got (after it was too late)were:
1) Have as many big name musicians on it that you can find.
2) Only have one or two originals on it.
As far as the music goes, I loved the first two, they swung, everyone played great and everything made sense to me.You guys really made that 5/4 thing swing.
The sax player played some nice Sheila Cooper licks.; - )
The last two required more than one listen for me to give any meaningful input.

It all sounds good to me, but I really like Lemurian, great comping/Harmony with the sax.

My favorite is "darkness and light". I'm a sucker for ballads. I'm
guessing this one is also the frankentele. The others I can't tell (es175?)

Great stuff Joey, smart modern compositions performed with precision and passion. If be very happy listening to the whole CD of it when available. I really like how you're filling in the harmony with self accompaniment of your solos. That's no mean feat and takes some monster CPUs to pull off. As an aside,I don't find anything you're doing to be intellectually contrived. Based on your posts over the years it's clear that you are conscious of everything you play, but it sounds rather spontaneous and emotional, which is to say from the heart. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks very much for the kind words Mark.

Good luck with your own release too.
I've been too busy to have a listen yet to any of the stuff you posted
earlier but I'm sure it's up to your regular high standards.

In case it wasn't clear, assume a smiley face of irony here

OK. Thanks to all.
I've taken the files down for now.
Off to the studio soon to mix them properly.
Stay tuned.
