Who sings a good Baltimore Oriole?

I heard a very soulful rendition of Baltimore Oriole while driving home the
other night. Unfortunately, there was no mention of who it was by. It was a
female jazz singer and the recording did not seem *too* old. Any idea who it
could have been?

A very nice version. Doesn't sound dated although recorded in 1962.

Hellen Merrill sings it on an album called Something Special.
She has Jim Hall on the album and I think Ron Carter
Great version of the tune.
