I guess I should tell them that I heard yours before I did mine that's why
opted for a more uptempo version with some bass lines so we wouldn't be
doing the same thing. I like the sound that you are getting with a pick
better than the one that I got with my fingers. Great playing! ----Charlie

Cool. Nice version of that lovely tune.

The youtube is better in some ways. But you can't download it. OTOH,
you can always go back anytime, as long as you don't remove it.

Dick,

it is great all the piece and in particular the single not line soloing at
the end. It is intresting to see your different approach vs Charlie
approach. You are playing with the pick the chords and it give a sort of
introspective feeling, you give the time to hear note by note, so....let me
say that all piece is a sort of long "single line soloing" that has its
blooming on the final fast single line improvisation. Because Charlie
fingerpicking style for him the rhythm is very uniform and continuos,
instead your Nuages is more rubato and introspective. Both interpretation
are super.

Marco

p.s.: even if I am in your mailing list I am happy to read your post in
rmmgj because you give to a lot of new people the possibility to know you.
So it is good for you and for them.

I don't know about Dick but there isn't anything about my 175 that I don't
like , It took a couple of weeks to get used to the wider neck after the GB
10 though. Thanks for checking things out.

Hey dude, I like your solo stuff at most of all your videos. Very
personal and as always a great sound. I'm a gatherer of those :-)

Please more solo stuff of yours and more solo impro, you got at
least me as a fan.

BTW why are you using the ear phones for solo playing?

Sincerely
karlie

Very interesting to hear both treatments back to back. You both get
great tone. I could see a whole #####/Charlie series happening. Pick
vs Fingerstyle interpretations. Thanks fellas for the posts.

That's a good idea except for the fact that I'm not much of a fingerstyle
player. It's good to try some different things though you come back with
another perspective. Thanks for listening hopefully we can get ##### to post
some more things.
