I received Kanengiser's "Classical Cool" album last night. If you're at
all interested in modern, jazz influenced works written for the
classical guitar, then this is a must have! Bertoncini, Dyens,
Bogdanovic, Dunne, York and others contributed some great material for
this project. Were I to review it, then this would be quoted in the
text: "inventive, fun, humorous!". I also picked up the score for
Bogdanovic's "Unknown Standards" (on the recording) and started on
"Monk-a-ning". What a fun piece in the style of Thelonious Monk!

Hi Ray,

What's your source for CD and score? I haven't been able to find the CD at
the usual places.

Regards,

Margaret

The CD is available through Guitar Solo (www.gspguitar.com) and the
music for Bogdanovic's works can be purchased through
www.GuitarGalleryMusic.com.

I got my copy of this CD directly from Bill. He's an old friend that I went
to high school with in New Jersey and we used to play in rock bands together.
The technique I have today is due in part thanks to our hanging out as kids.
He had all of the classical technique together then and showed me the right
way to hold a guitar, hand position and fingerings.

Cool, Bill definitely has some serious CG chops!
