My main axe is his AX-6 (acoustic-electric), which I love; I wrote
Ralph about the new model and he said it's definitely more "acoustic"
sounding that the AX model. He said he'll put more pics up soon. His
work is impeccable, BTW.

There's a fan-fretted Halfling for sale on the Ribbecke site. It looks real
nice. There's a clip of Bruce Forman playing a different one on youtube, and
it doesn't look completely impossible.

If you mean playing a fanned fret doesn't look impossible, you're
right -- they're very easy to get used to (maybe 5-10 minutes!).
If you mean playing like Bruce doesn't look impossible, then I
