Today I got my summer brochure in the mail form one of the bigger local
music stores. I noticed a scantily dressed lady on the cover with a
notification that "Janet Jameson chooses Jackson Guitars."

Ok. She is ahem .... a real stunner so I figured wow ... playing good
enough guitar to endorse a guitar brand and looking like that? O my ... I
have to do a Google on her.

In today's world looking like that mostly is more than enough for instant
global success - who needs talent? - so doubt crept in. Whazzup? Looking
like that and actually wasting time practising while she could be making
easy millions with her ... eh ... other considreable talents? Hard to
believe. Very un-21st century. Wait a minute .... them fingers on them necks
do look kind of awkward, don't they? Almost as if she is only holding the
guitar and does not know where to place them.

After some googling and research on the web which brought me to all kinds of
porn links (huh?) starring this "lady guitarist" the truth dawned. Mmmm ...
No she probably does not play guitar. Her magnificent talent lies elsewhere.
But she does state on the Jackson site that she always loved the sound of
Jackson guitars. Wow .... Now there's a reason!

Ah ... who cares. This is guitar endorsing 21st century style so why bother
with trivial details such as actually being able to play a little.
