Now I know why I became a dentist. Jimmy put a clip of him playing on the
Ted Mack show when he was what 12 or 13. It never fails to amaze me how
all of these great players like him were playing at that level at such a
young age. Now for the ultimate question. Jimmy do you still have that
ES-355?!?!? Jim

No. He said he came second to a tap dancing violinist or something.

That's fair then. I don't think Jimmy can tap dance while playing the
guitar.

Well, I told Jimmy that if he'd only learnt to do simultaneous tap
dancing then he might have amounted to something. But did he listen to
me? Noooo ............. LOL!

If I remember, I won three times. The clip the is posted I lost to the guy
that went on next. he played flight of the Bumble Bee on the violin while
rolling skating. Story of my life,

Darn, sorry I missed that! Your playing, I mean, not the guy on roller
skates.

That's so long ago! I remember the phone number was something like
"Murryhill 9-2000".

Jimmy,

If you'd learned to roller skate while playing guitar, maybe Buddy wouldn't
have fired you so many times...

Hey,

It's right at jimmy's site, jimmybruno.com.
I have a vague memory of this, my best friend wanted to get a
guitar instantly because of that appearance. He was about the
same age as us, we thought he was the next thing. Next week
my buddy was buzzing on about being a drummer because of the
Honeycombs or something, and the Jimmy phenomenon
disappeared from my mind for years. My family was too broke
for stuff like guitars, furniture, toys, clothes so I never considered
I could get a guitar myself until I was 17 and put a few bucks
together by accident. Ah yes, It's been awhile.
