the Dropbox link below is to a little ditty called section 3. I'm curious to know if any and everyone can access this link with a little difficulty and how the sound quality comes across.

Downloads fine. Sound is very clear on my system.
Is it a trio practising or in studio?

I like the Dropbox because it's a hi res 256k mp3 file, which is much bigger than what you can get for free with sound click or SoundCloud. actually I could so much bigger to full resolution aif files.

yes, the session is guitar bass and drums free form jamming in the studio. me on guitar, in case that wasn't obvious.

Easy to access and enjoyable to listen to; sound was fine.

Nice change Dropbox recently made allowing non-subscribers to access
files from users. Makes it more useful for me now.

Not sure on that, Mark, as I already have an account.

Wonderful play as always, Mark. Great sound too.

I really like this trio. It's good to hear you again.

That works great Mark. I was already signed up so it went straight into my drop box folder.
Just curious how the recording was done? One mic straight into a computer or do you have mics on each instrument? The quality sounds great and I'm looking for a way of recording rehearsals with some quality such as this.
Nice playing of course as well.

Downloads trivially easily even by non-Dropbox users, and sounds frigging
amazing. But that latter bit wasn't a surprise.

Ed, would you believe recorded live tio my smartphone? and this was the first time playing together, in fact, only met them both for the first time at the session. everything we played that day is completely free.

ok, just kidding about the smartphone, this is a pro studio, everything miced separately, each of us in separate rooms hearing each other only in phones. recorded took 24 bit pro tools. I then took the tracks home with me and mixed it in digital performer and some basic mastering in peak.

you had me going on the smartphone but I could tell the separation was too nice to be recorded all in one room. Great sound.

thanks guys, if folks here are interested I could post some more tracks. it's all free stuff from the very first time we got together about two months ago. we played a standards gig this past Saturday night and it was one of the most satisfying evenings in recent memory.

Hi, Mark,

Downloads straightaway to my Mac, auto-opens right away in iTunes.
Sounds great, too, and great playing as always.
Yeah, I'd love to hear you guys doing some standards, too.

Hi, Mark.
Oops. Just checked here a few days later.... and I missed it. Some other time, I'm sure.
Hey, do you always play with Dave Fisk, so that if it says him then it's gonna be you, too?
