Ha!!of all places!! i didnt even look there!
head version is stereo. Not sure if you can use w/single cab
I played through one at a studio and one at a concert. I didn't have to lift
either of them. As you know they sound just like the combo version. ..joe

I wonder what the recommended impedance is? Most s/s amps like low impence
speakers to deliver the full power rating. I'd guess at 8ohms per channel.

Never used the head but probably should have.
Back in the day I had a JC-120 combo that I put 2 EVM-12Ls into.
Man, that was heavy.
Sounded great for some things, but not great enough to justify the weight.
A JC-120 head with 2 EV cabs might be cool.
Not for me. For someone else.
I'm still in love with my Axe-FX.
Haven't had any real Gas for another amplification system since November
'08.

Oh man, I just got an option on a Roland JC120 for $175.
I must have it!
Ammo
I had two of these at one point. I sold one and gave the other to a student
for free. I liked the sound quality except for the hiss. Apparently they all
have this hissing sound. It's very noticeable at low volumes. $175 sounds
like a good price. ......joe
I have a JC 120 it really isnt that heavy bro - it looks much heavier than
it is.
It also has wheels too, so if it is too awkward you can just push it.
Mr.Will
According to the Manuel it can go down to 4ohms per channel and deliver
80wpc at that impedence. It has two output sockets per channel presumably
for easy connection of 4x8ohm speakers. I bet it still hisses like a snake
with 3 heads. It always struck me that the 'chorus' circuit was always 'on'
even if not used as the hiss seemed to modulate when the chorus was 'on'. I
think if you want a clean quiet amp, one of the older Peaveys or even a
keyboard amp would be better (unless they've de-hissed the latest reissues).
