Forgive me for repeating myself.
I bid on a couple of guitars.
I did not win any of them.
However you will see how nice the "owner" is
in letting me have the guitars at a lower price.
Lucky me.

The scammer I was emailing last month used the same bull.
His brother worked at FedEx.
At that time, he said it would be shipped overnight, for free.
Someone must have told him that sounded to far fetched?

I believe my scammer was in Italy?
Why won't anyone go after these scumbags?

In fact, there are....... http://www.419eater.com/

Beware though - don't click on the above link unless you have about 45
minutes or so to laugh your ass off reading how the scammers got scammed.

So what guitars was Frank going to let you have for a really good price
since he is a very bussy man? Jim

If you're willing to spend 5 minutes or so sending emails, you can probably
get him to go to the Western Union office a few times asking for the money
you "sent" him.

gooeyboy,

I placed my DRRI up for sale on the FenderForum. Got an email form a guy
in the UK, saying that he would send me $5,000USD for my amp. He said he
was owed a large sum by a debtor in the US and that he would tell the
debtor just to send me everything owed ($5,000) and they would even
arrange to have my amp picked. Needless to say, if they're so readily
willing to pay me $5,000, I'm holding out for $10,000!!!

Yeah, I like that stuff...
but I wish the authorities would do something more about them.
I know the Nigerians might be out of reach..
but a lot of the crooks are Europeans.. and even Americans.

Hey! Now I can afford to take risks with these scamsters. A wire transfer of
$20.5 million ($20,500,000!!) is on its way to ME! Please don't read the
CONFIDENTIAL message below...

Frank Musonda
Tel:+39 333840090
Fax:+39 011 66967740
b...@bs.net
STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL
Attn: Dear sir,
You may be suprise to recieve this letter from me since you do not know me
personally. I am Mr Frank Musonda the first son of late Dr Nelson Musonda
who was murdered recently in a land dispute in Zimbabwe. I got your contact
through an internet trade journal, so i decided to contact you. Before the
death of my father, he deposited the sum of US$ 20.5m ( Twenty million
five hundred thousand Dollards) in one of the private security companies in
the Republic of South Africa , as if he foresaw the looming danger in
Zimbabwe. this money is meant for the purchase of new machenery and
agro-chemicals for the new farms in Swaziland.
This land problem started when our president Robert Mugabe introduced a new
land Act " Modus Operandi" reform which affected the rich white farmers and
some black farmers as well. A lot of people lost their lives as a result of
this land reformed "act" of which my late father was one of the victims.
Based on this my family was scattered, I staying in Italy as a refugee, my
mother and my two younger sisters staying in South Africa as refugees too.
We contacted you to assist us in transfering this money to your country for
investment since the monetary/ investment laws of South Africa and Italy
prohibits refugees from running bank accounts or been involved in business
transaction/ investment. Honestly based on this we contacted you and with
hope that you will assist us with your whole heart.
I would wish you transfer this fund out of South Africa with out the
knowledge of my country (Zimbabwe) government who are bent on taking
everything that my late father had, after confiscicating all his farmland
and investments in Zimbabwe. We are practically left with nothing except
this money.
For your kind assistance my mother and I are offering you 20% of the total
fund after the sucessful transfer of this money to your account. 5%will be
set aside for any expenses that we might incure at the course of this
transaction, while the remaining 75% will be fopr my family which will be
used for investment in your country under your direction as we do not know
any thing about investment.
Contact me with the above numbers and e- mail address, if this proposal is
of interest to you, while I implore you to maintain absolute
confidentiality required in ths transaction.
Yours truly,
Frank Musonda

You know what is really interesting is that these people ARE getting people
to send them money. There was a case here in San Diego where somebody
actually hopped a plane to Lagos where they were manhandled by these thugs
and forced to wire these guys $$ under the threat of death. How ANYBODY
would do this is beyond me, but obviously there are takers out there. Jim

I count my blessings every time I read this. I guess I bought my Wes L5 CES
from an honest guy "Danny Boy" on ebay and just in time. It's a beautiful
guitar, brand new looking. Sounds wonderfull even without the amp. I have
trouble putiing it down several times a day.
