I recently found one in nearly mint condition - it gets a lot of
ooohs-and-ahhhs when I take it out. I have been forced to use a simple
gig-bag for it because it didn't have the hard case - original or
other. We tried a Gibson 335 case - the fender is just a little too
wide at the bottom ...... nothing commonly found in a music store
seems to fit.

Anyone know of a company that might make: 1) a well-padded gig bag
that will afford me some protection - or 2) a custom hard-shell
case manufacturer - or 3) a source for a used case ??

anyone who can help

thanks in advance - Gerry R.

I used to own a Fender Coronado II. What's a Wildwood? Anyway, I sold it
and the fact that it didn't have an original HSC was a big issue. What's
up with these guitars and HSCs?

IRT gig bags, I have a big one that's meant for a dreadnought flattop
acoustic. I've found it works well for a number of guitars. I've had it
for a number of years and it's still fine. I think is Levy brand but not
sure. It is very well padded. Maybe an acoustic-guitar bag might be the
way to go.

Anyway, some folks on the NG were recently talking about another custom
case co. that I can't remember the name of; I'm sure some one will
respond with it. But here in Portland OR there's a local place I
mentioned recently:

I remember these semi-hollow fenders with bolt-on necks. I think there were
6 string, 12 string, and perhaps 4 string bass models ? I believe the
"WildWood" refers to interestingly colored-stained wood finish.

Good Luck in Finding a case for yours.

I just ordered a custom-made case from Calton. Custom sizes
are the only kind of case he makes, and when you see the 16
measurements of your guitar that he asks you for, you have to
be impressed - also by the fact that he makes cases for Benedetto
and Buscarino.
The web addresses:

www.caltoncases.co.uk
www.caltoncases.ab.ca

I ordered mine from Keith Calton personally at the UK site -
BTW, don't take the suggested list prices at the North America
site too seriously, I'm paying MUCH less than that.
