For about the a month I have been suffering from tendonitis (both arms). At
times even picking up a coffe cup can be painful. It hasn't affected my
playing but carrying the guitar and amp in to gigs can be a drag. Anyway
rather than worry about it and in answer to k.e.'s call for more videos and
clips I put together "Tendonitis Blues"
http://media.putfile.com/Tenonitis-Blues
BTW I dropped my camera and stepped on it--the quality is now greatly
improved, you can see my fingers.

blues like Charlie.

Nice tone, you keep it interesting all the way through, I wish I could
do that. Playing with fingers always seems to give a smoother/mellower
sound compared to pick, its nice to do both for a bit of added
dynamics.

Enjoyed

The times I have had nasty tendonitis I also incorporated accupuncture
along with the ice and antiflamitory. I am an aleve guy myself, find
it easier on the stomach than ibuprofin. Seems like I live with an ice
pack on some part of my body every day. Getting old is overrated.

You finally cracked the instruction manual and found that particular
tip for improved picture quality! It pays to open the manual right
away, but most people only open it when they need to.

It seems I read on an Ibuprofen website that it's NOT an
anit-inflamitory, Aspirin is or Entrophen is ?

I know that asprin is but it can be rough on your stomach over long periods
of time.I was taking Naproxin for a while and it helped. I just got in from
a jam and used my right hand to carry equipment for the first time in about
a month so I think that I'm starting to come out of it now (fingers
crossed).

You must have confused it with something else. It is an anti-
inflamatory. Read here http://www.medicinenet.com/ibuprofen/article.htm

Nah, although my solo guitar playing is influenced by Joe (and others) it
definetly isn't the same thing. Check the single note lines for instance.
But I can't think of a nicer complement.
Charlie

(P.S. I don't think any of us would be playing bass lines in our solo guitar
renditions if it weren't for Joe.)

Let me say that, for my point of view, your solo guitar playing is very
well influenced by Joe and it is close to be very similar.

> Check the single note lines for instance.

Yes....but those are your lines. I suppose a lot of people here would like
to play so free as you. There is some know how in your playing....probabily
you style has some "white hair" .

> But I can't think of a nicer complement

A nicer complement but... more.... my post was (is) a sort of instinctive
reaction coming directly through the fast "soul highway".

You must be thinking about Tylenol (acetaminophen)...it's a pain
reliever but does not relieve inflammation :)
NSAIDS (Aleve, Ibuprofen, etc.) and aspirin all have anti-inflammatory
activity.

Thanks again Marco, it is funny just about a month ago someone complented
one of my solo guitar pieces because it didn't sound like Pass. There is
nothing wrong with your ears though there is a definite Pass influence on
this one just not an exact copy. BTW everthing that you do seems to come
from the soul

Thanks a lot Kurt. Just over the past few days everything seems to be
improving. I'm not sure if it's finding out that other guys have gone
through the same thing, Doctor Rick's advice or maybe even writing a tune
about it but it's getting better. I played an organ trio gig yesterday
evening with no problems. Thanks again for your concern.

Thanks Dick,I noticed that my RV3 reverb has two outputs so I ran two cords
out of it into the MI4 interface and that took care of it. I was just
watching your videos a while ago, nice job.
