The only thing that bothers me on it is that the chord changes are
consistent; sometimes the I chord is the first finger and sometimes it's
the third finger, for example. That messes me up a bit.
Anyway, I'll say three Hail Pierres and go to bed now...
Happy (belated) Birthday, Jenn!

Many, many years ago I was lucky enough to buy a 73 or 74 country
gentleman with the split mute pickup. I loved it and was the only
electric I ever liked. I got broke and disparate for money and sold it
to a guy who coveted it. I got a lot for it but I miss it so much. If
I ever DID find one it would cost much more than I could afford....so I
know what your /did/were going through.

Finally got to see one of these things about six months ago at the
local Wal-mart (there were always too many kids hanging out & playing
it)
Picked up the controller & tried to figure out how to make it work-
after 3 failed attempts I put the controller down
I turned around to find Mrs Rev: there were two little kids (looked
about 8 & 6) looking at me like I was a worthless loser :)

There's a guy who teaches guitar here locally. He regularly offers
Guitar Hero contests for the kids. I don't get it, myself.

Our library system (where I work) offers GH contests from time to time
- had one Tuesday, in fact. Some of my coworkers try to talk me into
trying it, but it just has no appeal for me.

- IF YOU DARE!
If you think about it there really is no real connection in my mind
between real honest to God music an real instruments. We will have a
whole generation who think things like Guitar Hero are real music.
Its all apart of the new electronic 21st. century version of music
without having to learn.. We play what we play and the youngsters think
its old fashion crap. We think theres is not real music played on real
instruments. I always grow a bit sad when something like Guitar hero
comes along,,,but then I am 68,,,I should just look at it as another
form of music but I can't bring myself to do it. As long as they love
it that counts for something.

I watched the kids one time, to see what they were doing. Whatever it
was, it didn't resemble playing the guitar much.
