I just heard myself. He was writing and playing until the last. His
last couple of CDs has his daughter playing and singing along with
him. Gonna miss that boy.

when I saw the Band in the 70s ..he impressed me the most...great
voice and drummer

Yep, I made a little gut noise when I read that headline. Made my wife
say "What is it?" Same one I made about Pete. Good guys gone for good
makes you feel bad. Well, it makes me feel bad.

Helm was interviewed twice on the NPR show "Fresh Air." They are going
