CD4.... it was several years and at least one lifetime ago...
Two recording sessions ago, which puts it back in the forgotten mists of
time ... I don't even remember for sure which two pieces I submitted.
I actually had given up on it, having not paid attention closely enough
to know if it was dead or on life support or wtf. this is good news!.

I put my two contributions on my myspace page. Used the Plastic
Maccaferri G-30 on one (kudos to the missing in action Ken Cashion), and
my friend Alan's Gibson L-3 (circa 1918) on the other.

I also am glad to see the light at the end of the very long tunnel that
this project has become. A big thanks to Steve for providing renewed
hope with his recent announcement on the ongoing status of the project.
When I briefly saw Jim McClain at the Dallas show back in April, he
said he would send me some copies of the discs, despite having long
before finished his part of the project (he also said he was rarely
checking in here any more). He then marched off to hike the peaks of Mt.
Hood or Whitney or Kilimanjaro, I forget. So I never saw them but ya
gotta love him anyway, grin...

Did that rascally ol Jim McCrain change his name ?.
(Dammit Jim !.... I'm a metalworker, not a computer scientist)
((with my luck he'll check back in , read that, and take it the wrong
way again...)) well I'm glad he's happy walking on mountains. I actually
think of him sometimes when I'm out walking on my messed up knee,
jealous that I may never scale a decent peak. But I digress...
not much else for me to do here...

I also posted my cd4 tunes , though on soundclick, and a number of
people here have already heard them. I'm excited about getting a slew of
hot licks (where the heck is Sorell, anyway?... swallowed by the
Faceborg ?...) from others, which will dovetail nicely with my new LP
discs . so hopefully it won't be much more than another 4 years we have
to wait (^;....

I finally received my Sex In The City - Complete Series DVD, so I've been
holed up in my Snuggie with some hot chocolate.

Lola has her own.

BTW - very nice recording! Can you tell us the recording setup for that
piece?

Reminds me of a doublewide sweatshirt I had in college, with two
head/neck openings at the top, a left sleeve and a right sleeve, and
plenty of coziness in between.

Okay, I'll cut 'n' paste something I posted this morning at RAP into the
thread about the song, just to keep our excitement in this thread
unmolested.

Hope that will satisfy ewe.
