Anyone see one of these? I'm surprised they even reviewed a guitar
that sells for $159, much less thought so highly of it.
G.
My local shop carries them. Surprisingly good for a beginners guitar, I
certainly wouldn't rave about it but it's a good deal for the money. I only
saw one so I'll reserve judgement for a while till I play more of them.
Geezer
I haven't laid hands on one, but I think this is another interesting
example of what they are doing in China. I have two Blueridges,
another brand made by Durando's parent company, Saga. About the only
thing I don't like about them is the neck, which is too small for my
hands. The Durango has a 13/4 nut.....
If this thing is half as good as the review states, I can't see how it
won't become the starter/beach beater/travel guitar of choice for a lot
of people. The author said almost exactly what I did when I got my
first Blueridge: why do I have all these high end/high dollar guitars?
It would greatly surprise me if a $200 guitar reached the sonic level
of a 3K instrument. Hell, it would shock me. But I've always believed
that the difference between a "pretty good" guitar and a very good
guitar isn't a great as some of us would like to think.
