Does anyone know the chords to "Summer Wages"? I'm not sure of the
author,
but David Bromberg does a nice versions of it ("Never hit on seventeen,
when
you play against the dealer, etc...).

Regards,

Andy

G C
Never hit seventeen when you play against the dealer
G Em Am7 D
For you know that the odds won't ride with you.
G
Never leave your woman alone
C
When your friends are out to steal her
G Em D G
Years are gambled and lost like summer wages.

BRIDGE
D C G
And all of your taverns on down along Young Street
Em Bm7 C G
Where the dreams of a season are all spilled out on the floor
D C G
On the peak stands a timber, just waitin for falling
Em Bm7 C D
And the hustlers sittin watchfully as they wait there by the door.

It was written by Ian Tyson. This is my arrangement, but I'm pretty sure
it works.
