I've been looking for a collection of Guy Clark songs and I've come up
empty so far. Does anyone know if such a thing has been published? A PVG
version would be great.

Thanks for any leads you can give me.

Best one I've ever seen is your buddy Norman's little binder if
you don't mind a few tunes by his Bobness, Mr. John Prine,
and TVZ thrown in with the Guy Clark stuff.

I know he has some Guy Clark tunes in there but he guards that book as
closely as he does his Framus. Besides that, I need the melodies to go
along with the lyrics and the chords. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I'd be nice to Norman if he'd make me a copy of that book.
I'd sing his praises for all to hear.
I'd pay him too.
I'd talk about both of his good characteristics.
I'd never mention his thousands of flaws.

For a few days anyway.

If Norman can go (what is it now, almost six months?) without buying
a guitar I could go a whole month without insulting him for a copy of
that little black book. BTW, Jim Carpenter's little book is next on my
list. So is that fake book that Tom Loredo's friend wanted to publish.

Dick,
I thought you had that one that Mike brought to EC1.
I was just thinking about an ass kissing campaign on you to get a copy
of that one.
I guess I can cancel that now!

Dick you can copy the music out of my book anytime. Actually
it's books and folders full of scrawled out lyrics and chords,
etc., etc. I've got piles of the stuff. Lets get together and
go through it. Kinkos is about 2 blocks from my house. Is that
tempting or w

By the way, most of the Guy Clark songs are pretty easy to figure
out. Dorgan might have trouble though. So much trouble, in
fact, that he would probably have to say nice things about Draper
for months just to save having to figure out a few 3 or 4 chord
songs.

I love Guy Clark's stuff. Maybe I should sit down and figure
some of it out. Maybe I could say something nice about Draper

If your looking for it online you can try www.tabrobot.com , I got some
great links there for Guy Clark. I was told at a music store that they have
sheet music but were sold out.
The Texas Music Archives also had some.
