Hi all,

I'm doing some housecleaning, due to some recent signal chain changes:

1. Fishman SoloAmp (SA220)
http://www.fishman.com/products/solo_performance_systems.asp
Really popular item, very highly rated. Highly portable. Amp and stand
fits in a bag, which has wheels. Easily fills a good sized room, pub,
etc. 2 channels, nice reverb choices, phantom power. Perfect
condition. Three months old, used in concert twice and at one wedding.
Sells for $1000 new. Will sell for $700 plus actual shipping (35 lbs
including bag and stand)

2. Centaur 1525 "Acoustic PA" amp. http://www.centauramp.com/1525.html
and http://www.centauramp.com/acoustic2.html
3 channel preamp, with incredible flexibility. See the specs. 125
watts, 15" speaker plus 2 tweeters. 23x19x14" Sounds REALLY excellent.
I'm only selling because it's a little large for me to carry around in
my VW. A friend at McCabe's in L.A. recently told me that Neil Diamond
bought one not long ago. Lightly used 6 times. Perfect condition.
Sells new for about $780. Will sell for $400 plus actual shipping (50
lbs).

3. LR Baggs Para Acoustic DI/preamp
Used about 5 times in concert. Perfect condition. Original box.
Sells for about $170 new. Will sell for $50, I'll pay shipping in
continental U.S. http://www.lrbaggs.com/paradi.htm

Happy New Year!

Jenn, I borrowed a big 15" Centaur while I was in Hawai`i, Ledward has
had one for years, I had no idea they were still in production because
his is the only one I've ever seen.

He, on the other hand, was really impressed with my Soloamp when he
was here in August.

What are you adopting as your new SR rig?

Very high quality. I'm a big believer in his products. I'm only
selling it because it's a bit big and heavy for my purposes now. I
can't imagine a better sounding and more flexible amp for $400. I've
only priced it that low because it's not a "big name". Make a dandy
keyboard amp too.

I really like the SoloAmp. I'm only changing because I found something
a smidge better for ME for MY purposes.

guitar...dtar multi-source....Highlander PAMDI....Dr. Scientist
Reverberator.....Bag Amp or house PA.

How are things in WC, Fran? I'd love to do some playing up there; maybe
Doug's thing, if I qualify. I should be visiting the relatives in WC
and Orinda soon.

Happy New Year,

Jenn, have you talked to Doug about his series? http://www.dougyoungguitar.com
Hard to believe this is ongoing for 5 years now.

The series is a great idea. I wish that I lived closer, but I'll be
there tomorrow. Have fun! Might my new friend Brenda be there?

We have a lot of acoustic fingerstyle activity here for considering that
we're a small population base. SLOFOLKS brings a lot of players here.
In the 5 1/2 years that I've been here, they have brought such people as
Pierre, Ed, Michael Gulezian, LJ, and several others. For the second
year in a row, local fine players Tim Pacheco, Martin Paris, and least
of all me, have done a fun concert at my college. This year the
wonderful local guy who tours and deserves a more national reputation
Dorian Michael joined us. So we do OK here, but it's great to go to the
big areas of SF and LA every month or so to hear folks like you and Doug
who don't get here.
