i am rediscovering the acoustic guitar.

Please post here if you come up with any leads. Some of the simpler Towner
pieces are perhaps within my capability, but I don't have the patience to
work them out by ear from his recordings. Even though the title indicates
that it's a technique book I'm hoping he at least has snippets from his
pieces.

If it werenıt for the flashbacks, Iıd have no memory at all.
I don't know about the book in the first post, but he does have one
book in print now. Here's the description from his web site:
Ralph Towner: Solo Guitar Works, Volume 1, GSP 225, $19.95
"Transcriptions of a sampling of Ralph Towner's solo guitar
compositions, including comments from Towner":
Green and Golden
Anthem
The Reluctant Bride
Etude (Oleander Etude)
Haunted
Joyful Departure
The Silence of a Candle
The Sigh
Tramonto
Waltz for Debby
Order from Guitar Solo Publications

Note: I think this is all standard notation, no Tab (check with the
publisher). I guess he's trying to separate the men from the boys
here. This is going to have to go on my list of things to get after
I learn to sight-read standard notation, if that ever happens.
