Is there anybody out there who happens to have the Ave Marias (High
voice) from Franz Schubert (op.52. No.6) and/or Charles Gounod
as a Finale/Sibelius/Capella2000 file or can give me a url??
I know, it is a bit off-topic not being choral music, but as we had
this long thread about music notation software... And honestly, aren t
most of us choristers also soloists in hiding??
I need to rehearse those pieces for a wedding and would like to use
the computer for accompaniment (plus I am too busy to input them
myself ;-) ).
Thanks for your help
Christoph
lists six versions of Schubert's Ave Maria (D839):

http://www.prs.net/cgi-bin/n.cgi/nep/7/avem2.mid
http://www.prs.net/cgi-bin/n.cgi/nep/0/ave.mid
http://www.prs.net/cgi-bin/n.cgi/nep/0/schub-sk.mid
http://www.prs.net/cgi-bin/n.cgi/nep/3/avemaria.mid
http://www.prs.net/cgi-bin/n.cgi/nep/1/avemaris.mid
And three rendings of Gounod's Ave Maria:
http://www.prs.net/cgi-bin/n.cgi/nep/0/avemaria.mid
http://www.prs.net/cgi-bin/n.cgi/nep/7/avem1.mid
http://www.prs.net/cgi-bin/n.cgi/nep/9/avem-sk.mid
Then there is the Silvis Woodshed at
http://www.channel1.com/users/gsilvis/
Which contains the Schubert at:
http://www.channel1.com/users/gsilvis/mids/sch_avem.mid
but, curiously, not the Gounod.
I know from first-hand experience that Sibelius will
successfully import MIDI files from both Mr. Schwob's
and Mr. Silvis' MOST EXCELLENT online resources.
I would assume that Finale will do so as well.
