I used Dreamweaver although the setup work was done by a friend with a lot
more experience.

I'll probably get to that shortly. On second thought, I really need to clean
it better first so it may be a while.

Thanks for looking,

Hi Skip,

A very attractive site. From Asheville, eh? You might know some of my dulcimer
friends!

Nice site! Question regarding the double neck guitars photo. Ususally the
double neck guitars don't move me, all I can think is sholder pain, but these
look very interesting to me. Can't tell without picking one up, but they don't
"look" so heavy as I expect from such.

Question is: Is the photo reversed and righty with reverse (left hand)
headstock?, are they lefty but with reverse (right hand) headstock?, or is
nothing out of the ordinary and I've gone too many nights with not enough sleep?

Again, my complements on the site and the dblenecks. Also, what is that bodyless
framed classical electric?

Those are for two brothers who are both left-handed. They both play bass and guitar
and used to have to change instruments every couple songs. Joe Gagan (a pretty savvy
hand around guitars) actually sawed a guitar and a bass down one side and glued them
together for the prototype. I came in after he had done most of the design work and
built the bodies and one of the necks. All the rest is stuff they had lying around
including some right-handed Fender necks. Like most lefties, they are used to
accomodating right-handed devices and didn't seem to think much of it. The bodies
are alder and the bass side is angled slightly downward to reduce weight and make it
easier to reach around the neck. The first effort was even lighter but the wiring
routs made it structurally weak. I broke it like a graham cracker on the edge of the
bench and then spliced it with a piece of poplar. The electronics are different on
each and we had to play around with the circuit so the bass and guitar wouldn't be on
together. An extra piece of wood had to be glued back on one to accomodate a Hipshot
Trilogy bridge The Gagan Bros website is:

http://www.gaganbros.com/

and there is a write-up on these guitars. Great guys!

The outline classical is for a guy who plays jazz and new age stuff. You can't see
it in the picture but the bridge has RMC piezo saddles that go into a MIDI
controller. I don't know if he ever uses the feature but it is designed to break
down quickly for air travel as carry-on. The central core is solid ash and the wings
are laminated ash that I cut about 1mm thick and glued together in a mold.
All-in-all a very fun project!

Simply awesome ;^)
I first mean the guitars of course but also the website : it
straight-forward, fast to browse and interesting to read.

Kind regards,
Fabien.
