Hello,

I saw your post when I searched Miller sanders. I have had one since
1993 & it has served me well. Used by myself & one other person in a
small fine furniture shop. Has it's limitations, but knowing the
machine well allows for efficient use.

I am quickly being forced out of my long time shop space due to
physical issues with the building. Considering moving on to another
part of life & not setting up a new space at all, but I hate to part
with the access & utility of my current tooling. I was searching to
get an idea of value if I do need to sell the machinery. Alas, the
Miller is not something I will easily obtain again compared to other
machinery I have.

I recall Todd Miller told me some luthiers appreciated his sanders due
to the simplicity & ability to take so little off at a time. I had not
thought about posting specifically to luthiers. Is there a good venue
you might suggest or do you know of anyone interested in buying one?

I am in Seattle.

What do you think they are worth? It's in good shape.

You can make your own surface sander for ~ $100, especially if you use
Harwick's well (I'm in Seattle too). I made a 24" wide one that is good
to ~ .001" side to side and very rigid. Drop me a note if you want to
come see it. Remove the uppercase from my email address and you're through.
