This is info which Bruce Sagan sent to me because the message he sent to
Charles bounced. I don't have Charles' email address, so I'm sending it
to the list in hopes that he is still reading it.

Dear Charles,

There is a hambo (Swedish) called Horgalaaten (aa= a with circle) based
on the legend of a devil from the mountain of Horga in Haelsingland (ae
= a with umlaut) playing for people to dance until the flesh dropped
from their bones.

There is also a polska (Swedish tune in 3/4, not to be confused with a
polka which is in 2/4) from Aelvdalen supposedly composed by a fiddler
for a wedding where he was in love with the bride ( but she was marrying
someone else). When the bridal couple got up to do the dance, they made
it once around the room and then the woman fell dead under the satanic
influence of the fiddler's tune.

I'd like a copy of your compilation when it's done.
All the best,

ps. Bruce, I'm sorry that you had so much trouble with this. Thanks
for the info! My email address is netm...@jump.net. (in case you
didn't have the correct one?)
looking forward to seeing you soon!
