A Few Reasons why Douglas P is not a white supremacist/nazi:
-his biggest hero is yukio mishima. mishima is a famous japanese
author/fimmaker/bodybuilder/artist/exhibitionist. he was very prolific
and very into self-cultivation. douglas worships mishima and in death in
june's latest cd, _take care and control_, he even has a picture taken
in a classic mishima pose with his chest bared. it's a bit cheesy
though. _the world that summer_ and _wall of sacrifice_ have lots of
lyrics inspired by mishima. he even has mishima films shown at the
beginning of some DiJ shows. i suggest everyone read some of mishima's
works. very interesting.
-he used to be in a band called crisis. crisis was douglas p, tony
wakeford and patrick leagas. this was an extremely leftist punk band.
very anti-racist. listen to crisis' _we are all jews and germans_ for
reference.
-he plays live in japan. has albums recorded there and does
collaborations with some japanese artists.
-word is he's gay. AFAIK, this has nothing to do with his music but i
mentioned it because nazis and most white supremacist ideology are
anti-homosexual.
i could go on but why bother? this is enough proof and if you still
don't want to think about it beyond the fact that he used a totemkampf
or whatever, then i don't think anything else will get you to change
your mind.

yes, the reason is that this stuff, aka anything not entirely
politically correct, is controversial and somewhat more complicated than
the average person wants to think about.
by this same reasoning, people protesting against all skinheads because

It is interesting that you deride Douglas P and DiJ for their
use of symbology that has been coopted but had previous origins
that were not in line with National Socialism or Nazis. Using
your own logical fallacies against you would mean that you
are supporting the Neo-Nazi skinheads by using the same look, fashion
and demeanor as Neo-Nazi skinheads since they have coopted the style.
The public thinks skinhead=Nazi, much the same as most
of the deluded public think swastika=Nazi... which it does not.
Both are erroneous beliefs.

And what experience was this? Are you upset simply because I didnt pay
the ridiculous amount of money that you wanted for some records? I think
it's funny that you criticize me for saying I do not support an artist

Im well aware of the fact the symbols were used in previous cultures, and
I've addressed this already in other threads. Had you not been so cute
as to start a thread directed completely at me, and actually READ some of
what I've had to say, you'd see that. Regardless of what they were in
the past, these symbols still bring back imagery...Someone mentioned that
Pierce was using them to possibly show that we need to "pput the
holocaust past us" or somethin to that extent..whatever. It's
limitpushing, and it's stupid.
If you're tryin to tell me that Pierce is a big supporter of historical
middle eastern culture (i believe the term Aryan actually refers to
southeastern europeans, and in some cases Indians? If i was told
correctly), then you are really pulling for arguments.

Fine. We've been through that. He still embraces symbols of white
power. The idea of myself exhibiting characteristics of the original
skinhead movement is alot more practical and pragmatic than Pierce using
Swastikas to embrace his love for Pakistan.
