Long time, no see... It has now been almost two months since the last version
of the Top Sample Sources List, but now a fresh new version is here. One
reason why the list has been delayed is the fact that I've been working on a
perl script that would turn the list "inside-out", i.e. the script should be
able to automatically produce a Top Sampling Groups List! I assume that a lot
of you would be interested in that, now when the Top Sample Sources List has
become so enormosly big. Then it would be nice with a cross reference list
where you can look for your favorite groups instead...

Unfortunately I've not had the time to complete the implementation of this
script, so this project will be delayed some more. I'm no real perl hacker
myself, so if there are some real perl hackers out there, that have some
good ideas on how this problem can be solved in an easy way, then feel
free to contact me.

For the time being, the Top Sample Sources List will have to do...

Well, what's new this time? It has now reached 190 sources and 913 samples,
soon reaching the 200 and 2000 limits. That is 7 sources and 56 samples
more than the last version.

And here are the templates that I would appreciate if you could use when
contributing to the list: Use cut & paste, fill it in, and the send it by
e-mail directly to me: Peter....@um.erisoft.se

"Good evening. This is the 37th time I've spoken to you from this office
where so many decisions have been made that shaped the history of this
nation. Each time I've done so to discuss with you some matters that I
believed affected the national interest. In all the decisions I've made in
my public life, I've always tried to do what was best for the nation. As
long as there was such a base, I've felt strongly that it was nessesary to
see the constitutional process through to its conclusion, that to do
otherwise would be unfaithful to the spirit of that deliberately difficult
process. But with the disappearance and the dangerously destabilizing
precedent for the future, I've concluded that because of the Watergate
matter, I might not have the support of the congress, that I'd consider
nessesary to back the very difficult decisions and carry out the duties of
this office in the way the interest of the nation would require."
