Ministry - QUESTION...

that have me a little concerned. I recently had the alias of Hizbollah,
and as any Minstry fan would know, its on the Land of Rape and Honey disc.
Anyway, I found out that Hizbollah is a terrorist faction in the middle east
that kills Jews. Now I was thinking, maybe they named it that to denounce
Hizbollah, or thats what I wanted to believe atleast. Anyway, I was listening
today to the 'Just Incase you didnt feel like showing up' disc, and in
Stigmata (rad live version btw), Al is saying fuck everything. He says
fuck you, fuck me, fuck everyone, fuck jesus, fuck mary, fuck the jews. Now
I dont have a problem with him saying any of that, except that he says fuck the
Jews. Im not jewish myself at all, but with those two things, Im wondering
if Mr. Jourgensen is an outspoken antisemetic? I do NOT dig on racism at all
in any shape or form, and if I confirmed that Ministry (or mr. jourgensen) is
a friggin racist, I'll be pretty pissed. Can anyone give me any insigt on
this? Thanks..!

I think what Al means by all of it is that he just *HATES*...not any
particular group/person in specific...but a general hate of everyone &
everything. He rattles off about a dozen groups & people to "fuck" in
the live version of 'Stigmata'. I don't see a real problem with this view
as long as it's universal hate and shows no preferences for anyone or
anything. [i.e. "fuck everyone"] ;) Then again, the song 'Land of Rape &
Honey' does start off with the nazi salute 'sieg heil'...kinda disturbing IMO.
I think Ministry could be counted as a "fuck it" industrial group...not really
caring what they say...just saying it. Who knows...

You listened to Al swearing at everything in Stigmata and decided that
it was OK for him to denounce everything except jews, and now you're
wondering if Al is really 'anti-semetic' so that you know wether or not
to call him a nazi? Are you for real? The lyrics in Stigmata
suggest that if Al does hate jews, thats the LEAST of his problems.
This song clearly depicts a story of a man who has tore himself apart
brought on by the guilt of the ages, and now he's hollering up a storm
saying basically 'screw all this shit, >I< didn't have anything to DO
with it'.. the song is also obviously a (albeit emotionally charged)
statement regarding the propoganda-fueled brainwashing that the
establishment is inflicting on its citizenry to divert their attention
from the grand conspiracy. Here's a HINT: YOUR attention has been
DIVERTED. This goes DOUBLE for all you BOYD RICE HATERS, who come on
rmi with a few concocted rumors and no real evidence as to Rice's
activity other than that he likes to wear uniforms to costume parties,
and has an interesting taste in literature. Does this sound familiar
to anyone else here? - regarding GP Orridge being raided in UK a
couple years ago and facing charges of being public enemy #1 against
the state of humanity all because a reporter got ahold of some

No, Al is basically anti-religion, don't take it personally.

If you have listened to right after the "Jew" line, you'd notice that Al
also says, "Fuck the Buddhists, fuck the Hindus..." I don't think Al is
an anti-Semite at all (hell, I'M Jewish)--he's just anti-religion. Did
you find any problem with his anti-Christian statements? He also says,
"Fuck everyone!" Do you think Al is an anti-Human? The guy is just a
nihilist who loves chaos. Don't worry, if Jourgenson was a racist, I
wouldn't listen to him.
