Most Manson fans *I* know are about 14-16 years old, and they hang out at
Six Flags Over Texas every day. Like it or not, they are just striving for
attention. They may think they are fucked up, but in a couple years they
are all going to be in business college dressinglike their parents. I know
I didn't change with the trends like that...I'm still fucked up at 27...

Just a follow up on my last message... On Honey I Shrunk the Kids, the TV
show. The boy gets smarter(It'd take a while to explain, plus it's too corny
to explain) and starts dressing all in black. His mother asks why he was doing
that. Then he answered that "I am wearing what is refered to as gothic, also
called goth, a style made popular by just pop icons as Bauhaus and more
recently Marilyn Manson" I'm not sure that's the exact quote... But still my
mouth dropped when I heard it... Can you imagine, a Disney show mentioning
Bauhaus and Marilyn Manson? It's a well researched show as far as I can
tell... Pretty funny.

Yeah, that kid is way screwed in the head, and with good reason. Can you image
what spending time with Tim Allen has done to his psyche. My god, just seeing
Tim Allen on television makes me want to shoot myself. And then there's that
Bob Vela guy...shit, if you ask me, I'd say he shows all the signs of a closet
child molester. "Come here Mark...I wanna show you my tool." My god, how'd
they get that past the censors!

And as we all know, the reason people find "Home Improvement" funny is all the
thinly-veil penis referances. Okay, well that, and all the
psuedo-homoeroticism that occurs between Tim Allen and Bob Vela. Of course, I
hear that next season Mark is going to start wearing fishnets and smoking
cloves...which will leave plent of room for the writers to start scripting
NAMBLA jokes into the episodes.

I'll be the first to mention that Trent Reznor actually appears in a
Michael J. Fox film in a crappy synthpop band he used to be in.

There's also Front 242 in the trailer for K2, and have you heard a car

I remember that trailer (they used Moldavia, I think) - and not a damn bit of
Front 242 in the movie - I thought the film was pretty good, but I kept
waiting for the *good* music to kick in.... Disappointing.

it was called "light of day". michael j. fox and joan jett played brother and

You're all forgetting one important point. The whole thing (Home Improvement,
I mean) is just a way to capitalize on the Boomer's fear of the way our
generation acts. Parents are supposed to look and say, "Well, he was such a
cute kid before, I guess he's still OK! (AWWW!!!)" I actually caught about 4
seconds of one episode where he proudly showed his mommy his black-painted
fingernails. Isn't that precious?! Our generation (most specifically the
Mansonites: because they love attention, they're the most recognized
fucked-up kids) is a threat to them.
If you can't relate: belittle. Look in the mainstream and you'll always
find us as the bad influences. When they can't rationally argue with our
beliefs, all they can do is portray us in a bad light and pray that it doesn't
happen to their kids.
If that fails, try to understand. That's all that this
cute-T.V.-kid-turned-goth crap is. A lame attempt by the media to tell
parents that their kids are just going through a phase. OK, in most cases
it's true. Most of the kids in black today will be listening to some
mainstream crap next Tuesday, but that isn't the point. But if you've
gathered anything from what I've written, you'd know that if I went off to my
parents, and they looked at me and said, "I understand. Mark's going through
the same thing." I'd rip their lungs out. Most rational people would
(teeny-bopper Mansonites, of course, excepted.)

a
"you just figured that I would never care . . . about anything"
GLU -- "Lonely Again"

P.S.: to those of you who aren't just posing to scare your parents, and you
like Manson, I'm not refering to you in the above. I dig Manson, but there's
no way in hell I'm going to ignore the hordes of faceless ex-Mettalica fans
who now wear eye-shadow.

Hey what if I'm a Skinny Puppy fan and a Manson fan....????
Think before you speak wise leader your specifics are too specific...I don't think I'm
fucked up! The man did not have a fair trial...SK was part of The Process....or at least
Ogre. Manson claimed he was part of it. I see a connection.
