My Personal Tragedy...

wasn't even so sure that I wanted to make an announcement on these
newsgroups.
However, it is probably best that you hear this from me than from anyone else.
On Halloween night, a horrible tragedy befell me and my family. My
brother, Doug, and his wife and three children all died in a house fire.
Many of you probably knew Doug from his WMSE radio show, 'Doug In The
Mourning,' and I know that he posted his playlists here often.
It will be some time before I start my own dj-ing again, so, I wanted to
let bands and labels know that I won't be able to answer any 'business'
type email for a while. But, I do hope to get back into doing my show
again when I get a lot of things in my life sorted out.
As it so happens, I was in Minneapolis the night this happened, guest
spinning with DJ K-Y at the Diary Of Dreams/Gitane Demone show. In a way,
it was fitting, since I know this is something that Doug would have loved
to do, as well.
I will never forget Doug and his precious family.
There's really nothing more for me to say...
