Metropolis, Informatik and Assemblage 23

Looking over the Met site, mostly to see if they'd picked up the new Die
Form yet (no), I notice that Informatik's had a couple of releases since
_Nmphomatic_ and Assemblage 23 has had a release since _Meta_, _Compass_.

Anyone got 'em, familiar with 'em, got an opinion on 'em?

I thought A23's _Meta_ was a step in the right direction, although I've
had a terrible time _not_ getting into 'im (I've _tried_): He obviously is
musically skilled, most esthetically sensitive, and has a fan-base, but
seems to have a positive antipathy to power, rawness and noise in music
(I like balances, meself), and also tends to be a bit formulaic in
arrangements.

And, speaking of formulaic, David D1n or wotever seems to have a problem
that way too (see, or, rather, listen to, Din Fiv/Escape to Reality, and
try to tell the tracks apart).
