i had assumed that it was LA Style as in the city of Los Angeles. But I recently
got a CD called L(ow) A(tomic) Style - The EP. what is "low atomic style" and is
it available at my local store?
the ep has, approximately, Atomic Playboy (2 mixes), Mind Extention [sic],
Deduction, Precaution (2 mixes), I like It, and 2 other things (9 tracks total).
I recommend it.
incidentally, does anyone know the source for this sample in "Atomic Playboy"?

it sounds to me like some senator from the 50s reassuring the masses that
atomic weapons are not whatever they're not. anyone? anyone?
anyway, i really like this CD. what else has LA Style done, aside from this
and James Brown Is Dead (is the second remix CD, in the black cardboard cover,
any good, by the way?)? what else could i find, and where? and where is this
group from, anyway?

Arrrrrgh. It's from a tape/movie called "Atomic Cafe," probably available at
your local video store. It's a collection of video pieces that deal with
nuclear weapons from about the 50's on up. Lots of interesting stuff; you
should check it out, especially before you consider enlisting in the military.
The ARGH comes from the fact that all these neat samples I've built up for
use in songs an on my radio show live mixage have been popping up in songs.
The sample above, the "Martial law is now nationwide" on Big Sexyland from
The Omega Man, and a couple of others I've forgotten. Most annoying. Are
there any songs with rocky & bullwinkle samples?

As I recall, the name of the song was "Hey Rocky," and the name of the
artist was "Boris Badenough." There was a 7" and a 12", each of which
featured quite different sets of Rocky & Bullwinkle samples.
