Shivaranjani has indeed been a very popular raga with our music
directors.. Songs in the raga range from

Sad.......Jaane kahan gaye vo din (MN joker)
Mere naina savan bado phir bhee mera man pyaasa...(Mehbooba)
Freaky....Huzoor is kadar bhee na itara ke chaliye (Masoom)
Romantic..Tere mere beech mein kaisa hai ye bandhan (E D K liye)
Toone preet jo mujhse jodi (some 199x movie) 1 < x < 4 :-)

I am not sure but I have a feeling that the following are also shivranjani
"Dhak dhak karne lagaa " (dil)
"jhoomti chali hawaa, yaad aa gaya koi"(sangeet samrat tansen)

Though the mood of raga Shivaranjani itself is sad one, but there are romantic
gems based on the raga. Here is my most favorite, from SURAJ (MD SJ)

I guess you might call this Shivaranjani depending on which note you
call the tonic. I however, see more emphasis on the "Dil" note, calling
that Sa, which would make the raga Hindol...(and if you notice the held
komal Re on "Ho-o-ooooooooooo...." you might even call it Sohani or
Marwa).
