NAME OF A MOVIE REQUESTED

I am looking for the title of a movie. The details are as follows:

Actor: Prithviraj Kapoor
Song : " Yeh bharat desh hai mera .....
Jaha dal dal par ..... "

I can't remember anymore details. Could any kind soul please let me know the
name of the film along with a couple of lines of the song?

The song "Jahaan dal dal par" is from Prithviraj Kapoor's version of
the Alexander-Porus tale, dont quite remember the name of the movie,
unfortunately. It had Dara Singh as Alexander, PK as Porus and the
producers revised history a bit and included a role for Mumtaz as well.
Incidentally, in an earlier version of the same story, by Sohrab
Modi(in which he played Porus), Alexander was played by none other than
Prithviraj Kapoor. This film was called "Sikander" and was the first film telecast on Bangalore Doordarshan way back in 1981.

So much for supplementary (and unsolicited) info. I dont recall the
film's name.

The name of the movie is "SIKANDER-E-AZAM" . The movie is 'bout alexander and
Paurava (Porus). PK had acted in the main role with Prem chopra nad premnath
as his sons. A few lines of the song:

"Jaha dal dal par sone ki
chidiya karti hai basera..
woh bhrat desh hai mera (2)

Jaha satya-ahimsa aur dharm ka
pag pag lagta dera
woh bhrat desh hai mera (2)

The name of the film is "Sikandar-e-Azam" and Prithviraj Kapoor played Porus
while Dara Singh played Sikandar (Alexander). Dara Singh's love interest was
played by Mumtaz (one of her earlier films, when she was the heroine in several
B and C grade flicks, a few with Dara Singh). Now I have a question for any
nettor who has seen the film recently. There is a song by Lata in that film
which is picturized on a very cute looking Mumtaz (she sings it to entertain the
troops). Does anybody remember the first few lines of that song ??? I have
spent a lot of time trying to remember them. Also, who is the music director
for this film ????
Unfortunately, I saw this film long before I was into Hindi music and hence
do not remember any details :-( :-(

I think the movie he had in mind was "sikander-e-azm", This song
featured PremNath.

This movie is Sikander, in which Sikandar was played by
Prithvi Raj Kapoor and Porus (Parvateshwar), by Sohrab Modi.
This song is along with the titles, when they show that Sikandar
is moving towards India while conquering the rest of Asia.
