Hi RMIMER's

Can somebody post the lyrics of another ghoda gaadi song

Singer:Asha Bhonsle
MD:OP Nayyar

Zara haule haule chalo more sajana
hum bhi pichey hai tumhaare.

It seems that I am going crazy over all ghoda gaadi songs. First it was
"Banda Parvar thaam lo jiga" from Phir Wohi Dil Laaya hon then it was
more recent one "Elo ji sanam hum aa gaye" from Andaz Apna Apna and
"Bachpan ke din bhula na dena" deedar and now this one. Does somebody has
a list of ghoda-gaadi songs

doharaa rahiin hain jaise fazaayen, bhuulii huii daastaaN

What about

"Laakhon hein nigaah mein, zindagi ki raah mein, sanam haseen jawaan
Honton mein gulaab hein, aakhon mein sharaab hein, lekin woh baat kahan"

from PWDLH or is it Mere Sanam? I have a query regarding this song -
How does MRafi say zindagi in the first line? Is it like "Zindgi" or
"Zind-a-gi"? I feel the latter is sort of childish.

can't remember the movie name but am quite sure that its not Mere Sanam.
This is surely an OPN song, but not picturised in a ghoda gaadi. AFAIR,
it features the hero (JoyM?) carrying a guitar in his hand, wandering in
a garden, eyeing all the girls around.

The song is from PWDLH and it IS Joy Mukherjee roaming around a garden which
seems to be bursting at the seams with girls. You can almost see him drool
throughout the song, and yet when one of the girls seems interested, he runs
from there as if a hundred devils were after him. :-)) I guess the guitar he was
carrying over his shoulder was for taking a swipe at any of the girls, if they
got too close (though why any of them would want to, is beyond me) .

Hi,

The movie IS PWDLH (Phir wohi dil layaa hoon) and of course, the OPN
touch is there to this song too. Some more OPN songs which can be
classified right away are -

Roka kai baar maine dil ki umang ko and Hue hai tum pe aashiq hum
from mere sanam and of course - Kisi na kisi se kabhi na kabhi and Suban
allah from Kashmir ki kali...

I have made some more observations regarding Biswajeet movies - In his
movies which released in the period of Mere sanam, playing guitar was a
fashion not only here but it was in the west when chords and stuff were
famous. So there are many songs you can see where Biswajeet carries around
his guitar and also I feel that Rafi suits Biswajeet very well - examples
where he fits him well are Pukarta Chala hoon main, Maujhe Dekhkar aapka
muskuraana and O my love (night in london is the movie)...

Other songs from PWDLH which classifies into OPN touch songs are
Aji Quibla Moha Terma and Banda Parwar Thaam lo jigar... Of course OPN is
very evident here....

Cheers
Ganesh

If you are talking of haule haule saajanaa, then it is not from PWDLH. The song
is picturised on Sharmila Tagore - Manoj Kumar on a gho.Da-gaa.Dii in the film
Saawan ki Ghata. But the music is definitely OPN. :-)

Which ones, if I may ask?

I agree. BTW can someone tell me who else has sung for Biswajeet, other than
Hemant Kumar in Kohra?

ye mujhe dekh kar aap kaa muskuraanaa is from Ek Musafir Ek Haseena and starred
Joy Mukherjee, not Biswajeet.
