When I was a kid I used to listen a lot to this old song (either 30's or 40s)
on a 75 rpm LP. whose lyrics go as
" door desh ka rehne waala, aaya desh paraaye" (after that don't remember).
probably this was a song from a 30's movie and the singer was a lady.

Can someone tell me which movie this song is from and who is the singer?
I am trying to locate this song and doing an internet search revealed no
information. (unfortunately that LP is no longer available)
thanks a lot
Champak

Film - Jawab or Jawaab (1942)
Singers - Kanan Devi plus a male voice.
The male voice should be Robin Chaterjee's.
Composer - Kamal Dasgupta

Search for 'duur desh'. Some information on that link
is wrong. The male singer is not Pankaj Mullick. And
the lyrics are not by Pt Madhur. The lyricist is Bekal.
