Hi,
I believe he is. There is a concert at Raleigh in Sept/OCt.
I am not involved in organizing, but you can contact Mr. Prakash
Devalapalli at 919-481-3830 and he should be able to give you
more info.

I cant answer your question, but I just wanted to say that there was a
program in DD that had Kadri Gopalnath on the Saxophone and Narasimhulu
vadavatti on something like a sax but is closer to a Shanai. It was a
wonderful Jugalbandi. Narasimhulu (from Raichur) is a brilliant young
artist with a lot of promise. I have a copy of the tape if you wish
to see.

Also, I read in a recent issue of Deccan Herald that he has released a new
audio cassette which is not a strictly classical cassette but more of the
fusion kind. The DH reviewer says it is pretty good. I can check on the
details of this cassette and let you guys know more if you are interested.

Yes Kadri Gopalanath is touring FALL 1995 under the banner of CMANA
(carnatic Music Assoiciation of North America) He will be accompanied
by Kanyakumari on the violin and Gurvayur Dorai on the mridangam. For
