There must have been a ton of such instances before! Two extremely
popular ones are "ye lo mai.n haarii" from Aar Paar (1954) and
"achchhaa jii mai.n haarii" from Kala Pani (1958).

Humdum mere maan bhi jaao, kehna mere pyar ka from Mere Sanam.
Tu rutha to main ro dungi sanam - Jawaani (1986)
O meri jaan, ab nahi rehna tere bina (Manzil Manzil) It has slight feeling
of regret.
Tum ruthi raho, main manata rahu, maza jeene ka aur kya aata hai.
Ruthe ruthe piya manau kaise - Kora Kagaz
Dil se bhula do tum hame, ham na tumhe bhulayenge, ruth ke jaane wale, ham
duniya se ruth jayenge. (Sargam?)

Sorry to follow ip on my post. Please exclude Mere Sanam song as it has the
hero manaoing his heroine.

My bad! How could I forget these two songs? Incidentally, both have
this seemingly naughty, femininely delightful line 'haarii'. The song
'merii sonii' (Yaadon ki Baaraat, 1973) also has 'achchhaa baabaa
chalo hamii.n haare' that I love too much for the way Asha sings it.
And all three songs were penned by Majrooh. Did he write more
'haarii' type songs? I cannot imagine a hero singing 'haaraa' or
'haare', because it just does not sound good on him. Anyway, so the
Aar Paar song was the first of this type?
Maybe, we can place these songs in some sort of chronological
order :
Achchha ji maiN haari Aar Paar 1954
Tum rooThi raho, maiN manaata rahooN Aas Ka Panchhi 1961
Jiya o jiya kuchh bol do JPKHH 1961
RooThe rooThe piya Kora Kaaghaz 1974
"Dil se bhula do tum hameN" is from "Patanga" (C. Ramchandra).
But this song has no element of "manaana".
Sometime around the mid-seventies, there was a song in a Saira
Bano film, filmed on her and a young girl : "RooTha hai to mana
leNge, phir bhi na maana to, deke khilona behla leNge". I can't
quite remember the tilm's title. Maybe, it was "Jwaar BhaaTa".
Or perhaps "Paise Ki Gudiya".

Maybe, we can place these songs in some sort of chronological
I do no think the song from Ass Ka Panchhi qualifies.
Here is a candidate
aji rooth kar kahaa.n jaaoge - Arzoo (1965)

Another candidate.
yeh bhi koi rooth ne ka mausam hai deewaane - Solvan Saal (1958)

This also does not make the cut. Sadhana just sings it to Rajendra
Kumar while he just walks around her lovestruck and dumb.
Turning to Saigal is usually reliable...
the song first triggered off by the word "haarii" is the exquisite
ab mai.n kaah karuu.N kit jaauu.N, with the haunting phrase
aashaa haarii, himmat haarii, ab kyaa daa.Nv lagaa_uu.N?
Yes, I know that is tangential to the topic here...
Saigal, in Tansen, is off to the king's palace - not ruuThaa huaa,
but under a sense of obligation. Khursheed woos him with
- more baalapan ke saathii chhailaa, bhuul jaiyo na; and
Saigal assures her that she has not lost his love.
A wonderful "manaaoing" song that Saigal sings is from Devdas
baalam aayo baso more man me.n
Another rather teasing song is from Parwana
muhabbat me.n kabhii aisii bhii haalat paayii jaatii hai
From Bhanwara, we also have kyaa ham ne bigaa.Daa hai
with the hero protesting his innocence, trying to woo his
heroine.
As for other (male) singers trying to atone for their mistakes
and woo their women back try the following
- merii sonii, merii tamanna
- achchha chalo jii baabaa maaf kar do, bure dino.n kaa chakkar hai
- maan jaaiye maan jaaiye, baat mere dil kii jaan jaaiye
- kahaa.N chal diye, idhar to aao
- yuu.N ruuTho na hasiinaa
- dekho ruuthaa na karo
- aa, lag jaa gale dil_rubaa, kahaa.N ruuTh ke challi...
- suniye to, kyo.n hai.n khafaa? ... diivaanaa, huu.N maanaa...
And on to the OP's issue of women trying to woo their men...
- ruuThe ke tum to chal diye;
and my favorite from the genre
- ajii ruuTh kar ab kahaa.N jaaiyegaa
