Hi! Music lovers,

Just heard the songs of "1942: A love story". Simply superb. I
think after a long time Kumar Shanu was plesant to hear to. He sang "Ek
ladki ko dekha to aisa laga" really well.

If anyone has seen the movie please post a review and the actor
list.

You are absolutely right. The music is simply supurb. It is the last offering
of the late Rahul Dev Burman, (perhaps the best music director in the hindi
film industry). Lata and Kumar Sanu also have a very melodious solo "kuchh na
kaho". Other singers include Kavita Krishnamurthy and Shivaji Chotupadhaya
(excuse my spelling), a very good Hemant Kumar clone whom I never heard of
before '1942'.

The movie is unreleased. It stars the late (yes, he died) Anil Kapoor, Jackie
Schroff, and Manisha Koirala.

Anil Kapoor is not dead! Sorry, I was mislead by a few of sick minded people
who started this rumor. (What a relief)
