bed & the police commissioner comes to see him.
Big B to the commissioner : "Pagar badhao policewalo ka, pagar badhao
commissioner sahab, 1400 rupiya mahine main
ghar nahin chalta sala imaan kya chalega....

On the beach: :
Danny(looks at B's burnt hand): Aag se khelne ka bada shauk hai!
yeh haat pe daag kaise lag gaya?
B (cool as usual): bachpan mein ek petrol ka bunk jala diya tha
usi ka nishani hai.
Danny: woh petrol bunk humara tha. bill bhej dega
B (cooler): uske saath apne tailor ka bill bhi bhej dena
tumhare kapde pehaneka tarika humein bahut achcha laga!

If any one remembers before they sit down to discusee "dhandha"
amithabh offers his coat to Archana pooran singh (wearing a
swim suit) and tells her something like....
"......jyada pani mein bhigne se sardi lag jayegi...."
or something like that. anybody remember?

a step back-

(Painter) whistled at her...
Amitabh (looking at Zeenat from head to toe, in her sleazy dress)
AB : Madam,.. aise kapde pehenengi tau sittiyan nahi tau kya mandir mein
ghantiyaan bajengi ?

ps. My nominations for the saddest songs..
1. Zindagi ka safar...
2. Aaye tum yaad mujhe... (Mili)
3. Jaane kahan gaye woh din...(Mera naam joker)
I find these songs tremendously depressing... btw, there would be a distinction
between sad songs and depressing songs.. for example, two songs in Mili..
Badi sooni sooni hai is a sad song, but 'Aaye tum yaad mujhe..' is downright
depressing !
