My understanding of Hindustani is not that good. Would be good if
someone can help me out in these.
Ugavala chandra punavecha ?? Seems to have shades of Hindolam
of Carnatic. Not sure to any degree.
Runanubandhachya seems to be Pahadi
Vad Jaaoo Kunaala seems to have the scale of Saveri of Carnatic.
Seems to have some foreign notes here and there though.
Naravar krishnasaman seems to be Maund of Carnatic. Whatever
it is in Hindustani.
Uthi Uthi gopala - seems to be Mohanam/Bhopali
Chandrika hee janu seems to be Saama of carnatic. What
is it in Hindustani anyways?
Pandunurpati janakajaya seems to use the scale of aarabi
of carnatic.
Do these tunes strictly adhere to the grammar of the ragas
like sticking to Aroh and Avroh?

narwar krishna saman.. yes its Mand
Uthi uthi gopala :Bhoop ( in fact u would find some traces of vasant
desai's famous " Amar bhooplai " in this . It is alos composed by
Vasant desai)
Vad jau kunala sharan. ..Its Jogiya
I think all these can be consideredas Mishra compositions as they are
never sung in very pure raga form.

No, it is definitely not Jhinjhoti. Can't remember whether it uses
Komal Ga...if not, I'd call it Gaavati, else, I'd call it Bheem.

Aren't bhoop and Bhopali same?
Both I guess follow the same scale S R G P D S" S" D P G R S.
This is the scale carnatic Mohanam follows.
> Vad jau kunala sharan. ..Its Jogiya
The carnatic equivalent is Saveri. They follow the same scale
They follow the scale
S r m P d S" S" N d P m G r S.
N-
This is Carnatic Hindolam. I do find some kind of impurities here
and there.
Malkauns like Hindolam follows the scale
S g m d n S" S" n d m g S
> Chandrika hee janu is Pratap-varali
Pratap-Varali is carnatic Saama.
They follow the scale S R m p D S" S" D p m G R s.
> Pandunurpati janakajaya is Durga
May be it is just my ears, I get a feeling that N and G are being used
in Avroh here and there.
