what i am able to recall off hand is this.
hope somebody could build on this.

as this is a devotional song. my sincere heartfelt apology for any
misnotation, or wrong words which are not at all intentional and can be
attributed to my ageing failing memory.

this has been independently sung by many artists. i had heard the runa
laila version.

it is in sindhi i guess, request if somebody could give english
translations.

regards.

Runa Laila's version, that you have partly transcribed below, is not
exactly in Sindhi. It is a composite version with the nouns retained in
Sindhi and the overall structure changed to Hindi. I wonder why. The
mukhDaa in Sindhi is:

laala muhi.njii pat rakhijaaie.n bhalaa jhuulelaalaNa
sindhu.Diya jaa sevaNa jaa
sakhii shahbaaz kala.ndar
dam...

I find this song confusing. This may not be the right forum to get an
explanation but I would still hope I can get one. The first line means
"laal, uphold my honor jhuulelaalaNa!" (both laala and juulelaalaNa are
vocative) But the next line is "The saintly shahbaaz kalandar of
Sindh and Sevan(native town of Shahbaaz kalandar, a famous Sufi poet)."
The song is clearly about Jhulelal as the antara is about lamps at the
temple, etc. Then why does this shahbaaz kalandar line appear in the
song? Who wrote this song?

Hema.
