Since this nazm is being mentioned at different postings, and I had a copy of it,
I am posting the lyrics.

I cann't vouch for it's accuracy

Tarana-e-Hindi
===========

Sir Dr Muhammad Iqbal Shaikh (Lahori)

sarey jahaN sey achhchha hindostaN hamara,
hum bulbulaiN haiN is ke yeh gulsitan hamara

GHurbat main ho agar hum rehta hai dil vatan main
samjho vanhi hame bhi dil ho janha hamara

parbat voh sabse oncha hunsaya aasman ka
voh santri hamara voh pasban hamara

godi main khelti hain iski hazaro nadiyan
gulshan hai jiske dum se rask-e-jana hamara

ae aab-e-roh de ganga, voh din hai yaad tujhko?
utra tere kinare jab kaarvaN hamara

mazhab nahi sikhata aapas main bair rakhana
hindi hain hum vatan hai hindostan hamara

unan-o-misar-o-roma sab mit gaye janha se
ab tak magar hai baqi nam-o-nishan hamara

kuchh baat hai ke hasti miTti nahi hamari
sadiyon raha hai dushman daur-e-janha hamara

Iqbal, kohi mehram apna nahi janha main
maloom kya kisi ko dard-e-niha hamara........

Excuse me, this requires lots of corrections.
I propose to post the corrected version either
tonight or tomorrow.

As promised, here is the "Anthem" with
necessary corrections :

Taraana-e-HiNdi

Saare jahaaN se achchha HiNdostaaN hamaara
Hum bulbuleN haiN iski, yeh gulsitaaN hamaara

GHurbat men hoN agar hum, rehta hai dil watan men,
Samjho waheeN hameN bhi, dil ho jahaaN hamaara

Parbat woh sab se ooNcha, humsaaya aasmaaN ka
Woh santari hamaara, woh paasbaaN hamaara

Godi men kheltee haiN iski hazaaroN nadiyaaN
Gulshan hai jin ke dam se rashk-e-janaaN hamaara

Ai aab-rood-e-GaNga, woh din haiN yaad tujhko
Utra tire kinaare jab kaarwaaN hamaara

Mazhab naheeN sikhaata aapas men bair rakhna
HiNdi haiN hum, watan hai HiNdostaaN hamaara

Yoonaan-o-Misr-o-Roma sab miT gaye jahaaN se
Ab tak magar hai baaqi, naam-o-nishaaN hamaara

Kuchh baat hai ke hastee miT'tee naheeN hamaari
SadiyoN raha hai dushman daur-e-zamaaN hamaara

Iqbal, koi mahram apna naheeN jahaaN men
Ma'aloom kya kisi ko dard-e-nihaaN hamaara

I don't think it is necessary to give meanings
of any words, but if someone meeds them, I will
be happy to do so. Even then, let me add that
the names of three ancient Empires (that have
vanished from the face of the Earth) are
(repectively) Greece, Egypt and Rome.

Three or four verses contain sentiments that
make sense to only some of the people and,
therefore, can be omitted wile treating the
poem as an "Anthem".
