I am looking for the name of the movie ,actor and actress for the song
"chandni raat hai tu mere saath hai " !!!!
I beleive the actor is Salman Khan.

Lyrics : ?? (I suspect Samir).
I think, this movie had the copy
of Ilayaraja's "Rajadhi raja .." from Agninakshatram -
"Tap tap tapori.." (how original - i mean lyrics).
Of course, I could very well be
wrong - as with a film like baaghi, one wants to forget
what (s)he went thru !

You are right. It is one of the many tunes Anand-Milind lifted from
Ilayaraja's compositions. Other prominet lifts are "O priya priya" and
"Dhak dhak karne laga".
O priya priya's original tune is from the Telugu movie "Geetanjali". For
Dhak dhak it is once again a Telugu movie, "Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka
Sundari".

I daresay you are mistaken there --- AFAIR the A&M adaptation
of 'rajadhi raja...' is in Vansh as 'raajaa, raaj kare.n'. Vansh, of
course, was a remake of the Tamil film Agninakshatram (or Gharshana if
you prefer Telugu) and has a whole slew of 'Ilayaraja-adapted' songs
by A&M.

I recall the movie not being as hopelessly bad as you indicate
above. But then one was younger and 'naadaan' in the days one saw
it... :-)

is "tap tap tapori .." in Baghi (1990)?
does it sound similar to "Raja dhi raja .."?
if yes, then we have two "adaptations" of Rajadhi raja by A&M.

The movie is Baaghi..the hero Salman and the actress is Naghma....it was
her debut!
